KIDS' DAY on the Square Downtown Wooster Life's Little Adventures Farm had a wonderful time in downtown Wooster. Their petting farm for the kids of Wayne County was a success. by Algebra the donkey, Honey and Blossom our goats and 3 rabbits the kids could pet. A good time was had by all. February 5th - 13th of 2011 Life's Little Adventures Farm was at THE GREAT BIG HOME & GARDEN EXPO Melissa, Randy, members of our Board and many of our volunteers had a great time talking to lots of people at the IX center during the show. The public got to meet Gilbert, our therapy dog in training. Gilbert is a pure bred American bulldog. We've already booked our booth for next year. Plan ahead to join us! Little Adventures Farm was again honored to provide their
animals to be a part of the Drive Through Living Nativity at the Willard Church of God located at: 4551 Willard West Rd. Willard, Ohio 44890.
It was cold Saturday night but
a steady stream of cars enjoyed the fantastic sets and talented actors. The actors from LLAF were: Algebra the Donkey, Black Beauty the pony, goats: Blossom and Honey, geese: Ruth and Boaze, rabbits: Believe, Bethlehem, and Trust and several of our chickens. The reason for the season came shining through!!!! Many thanks to the Church, Paster Greg and Pastor's Ronda and Richard for their generous hospitality. Melissa got to share a little about the work of LLAF at the Sunday Morning Worship service. Unfortunately, Sunday night's performance had to be canceled due to weather. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() October 30th of 2010 Randy & Melissa Willard presented the work of Life's Little Adventures Farm Inc. at the Shelby Nazarene Church. We discussed 3 major topics. 1. The work of LLAF. 2. Adventures in Ark building in 2011. 3. The set up of a "No Kill" cat shelter and TNR in Shelby Ohio. Morning Star Farms was Host Site # 2 on the Foliage Tour Map for 2010. We featured many of our animals taking 6 ponies: Mandy, Lighting, Blaze, Black Beauty, Kate and Myrrhrage, 2 goats: Blossom and Honey, Algebra the Donkey, 4 kittens and 3 bunnies. Smiles and laughter were shared by both volunteers and guests as we enjoyed the unusually bright sunny warm days.
